My name is Kristen Healy and I am from Raleigh, North Carolina. I am a junior and majoring in Clinical Research. I chose this major because I have always enjoyed science classes and had a strong desire to be in the medical field. When I came to UNCW, Clinical Research stuck out to me because it contributes to life saving studies and medical advancements. Due to the fact that the Clinical Research major is online, SACR is a great way to meet my classmates and professors. For this reason, I would love the opportunity to become an officer for SACR and help support and grow this organization.
While working part time as a behavioral technician, I have seen cutting edge technology being used to better people's lives. This led me to have a passion for Clinical Research. The Clinical Research program has allowed me to grow my knowledge and build leadership and professional skills, while building working relationships with those around me. Earning an officer position with SACR would give me the chance to give that opportunity to all those around me, allocate for my fellow students and help serve my professors.
Hello everyone! My name is MaryAngela Argyropoulos and I am a junior here at UNCW majoring in Clinical Research with a minor in Business and Health! I am also a Student Ambassador for the FuseCR program as well as I am a member of the UNCW dance team. I love being a part of the SACR team by creating connections and relationships with my fellow classmates and professors. I would like to further my relations by running for the position of Treasure. While obtaining a business minor in addition to my CLR studies, it has opened the world of the financial aspects in the business world. I would love to exercise my knowledge and assist SACR in overseeing the financial aspects, keeping track of all financial records, attending SGA finance meetings as well as helping plan graduation. I have a very organized nature combined with a responsible attitude and work ethic. Thank you so much for your consideration of me for this position. I look forward to hopefully working with you all!
